What is MetaSoccer?
MetaSoccer is an online soccer management play-and-earn game — the goal is for you to create a team and win as many matches as possible, against Artificial Intelligence or other players. Your winnings in the virtual field will be rewarded with tokens, namely $MSU and $MSC.
What do I need to start?
To start playing MetaSoccer you’ll need to create a MetaMask wallet and get some MATIC — the place where your tokens and assets will be stored. It is a browser extension that allows you to interact with MetaSoccer’s ecosystem.
You also need to buy $MSU, our governance token that you can use to acquire Youth Scouts and Players in our marketplace. It’s also used to perform actions within the game.

How can I form a team?
There are different options to start building your team.
- Buy Players in our marketplace. You need a minimum of 11 Players to start participating in matches. Keep in mind that even though you can put a Player in any position, they will perform better in their role of expertise, so it is wise to acquire players with different roles. Learn more about lineup and formations here.
- Buy one or more Youth Scouts. Their role is to find new Players to join your team through a Scouting process. Take into consideration that each Scout has a main role — Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder and Forward — so according to the role, the new Players will belong to the same line as the Scout that found them. Each Scouting has a different role price and the number of Players found depends on the overall of your Scout, as you can check here.

3. Combine the two options above! This is probably the best approach and the one that will give you a more immersive experience. Your Scouts can find you Players, and you may also buy some to fill the needs of your team.
How much does it cost to create a team?
There is no definitive answer to this question, because it depends a lot on the amount you want, can invest, and your preferences.
Like in real-life soccer, a stronger team — a team of Players with higher potential and who are more developed — is pricier than a team formed by Players whose skills are not as honed. It is possible to improve your Players and Scouts, so a team that isn’t considered as great today can be in their peak in a few months, surpassing other teams that were better before.
In our marketplace you’ll find NFTs that range from $1 to $10,000, so it is up to you to define what works best in your case.
How much can I earn by playing?
Again, it is impossible to predict an amount because too many variables come into play.
One thing is certain: the more you win, the more you earn.
There are different tiers in which a team can play, and the higher the difficulty, the higher the rewards. You can check more details on the rewards system here.
When can I start playing?
As soon as you have 11 players on your team, you can begin — it’s the only requirement you need to fulfill before you start.
Player vs Environment mode matches are now available. Soon we will release Player vs Player mode, which will give users higher rewards and make the game more challenging.
