Latest Developments: Check Out What We Accomplished So Far
MetaSoccer reached some big milestones this month, and we are truly proud of what we have been achieving.
It hasn’t been easy, and like in everything in life, we’ve had our ups and downs, but we firmly move ahead since we are aware of the importance of what we do for our community.
Let’s see what we’ve been preparing for you lately!
Over the last few weeks, the team has been working at full speed on the implementation of the Scouting that is now live, which means that you can send your youth scouts to find players so you can start building your team.
The implementation of this process is of extreme complexity since we need to fix a long-term logic in smart contracts that support our future plans for scouts and players in the game.
In order to generate the attributes of players we have to take into account two main constraints: the scout attributes and the gameplay.
We have developed algorithms that assure that better scouts find better players, and players have abilities according to the scout’s knowledge. We have also assured that the abilities of the player will be important from the first version of the gameplay. Through multiple simulations of Scouting we were able to guarantee that bad players aren’t generated. On the other hand, we also have simulated the improvement of the players so we can estimate the ideal age of a player.
This way, we have selected the proportion of the current values in respect of the potential values. The team is currently focused on adding some features to the randomness of the Scouting, and some players will have tattoos, for example.
The creation of an Events Log Ledger was other main achievement. This will add a level of reproducibility and security close to that of the blockchain to those parameters of the game that are updated off-chain.
More guilds have joined our ranks, and we have now partnerships with more than 15 guilds spread all over the world.
Vasco da Gama, a Brazilian soccer club was announced as the first official team to be licensed in the metaverse. It was a long process of negotiation, and we are very proud of our collaboration with them, which also includes the MetaSoccer logo on the squads’ equipment,
Argentinian soccer player Emiliano Martínez was presented as an NFT playable character, and he’s the first goalkeeper to have joined the metaverse — and more we’ll come soon, as we continue to work on the establishment of more partnerships like this.
Our own Marketplace will also be launched soon, where users will be able to trade and transfer scouts and players; we are working on the development of filters to simplify and perfectly adapt your search to our team’s needs.
Partnerships are also an important part of our strategy, and over the course of the next few days, we’ll be announcing some new ones, including the NFT of a Ballon D’Or and World Cup winner soccer player.
MetaSoccer team keeps growing, and we have effectively split the team into two parallel development squads. We are currently developing a demo version of the match logic & commentaries, to be implemented in April with the first interaction with the PVE mode.
We take pleasure in what we do, and our entire team believes in this project and we are sure we are building something great for you — so we’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continuous support and love for the game!
