Thomas Partey is the first real life player joining our soccer metaverse

It’s official! Today we proudly present Thomas Partey as the first real life soccer player that will be available to join a lucky team in MetaSoccer, as an NFT playable character.

Partey plays as a midfielder in Premier League team Arsenal Football Club, and is also a member of Ghana National Team, and the most expensive Ghanaian player of all time, with his €50 million transfer from Spanish Atletico Madrid to Arsenal.

Thomas is only the first international soccer star to be depicted in MetaSoccer as an NFT asset in the new category. Partey’s NFT will be for sale in the early 2022, and we will share details about the drop soon. There are many more world renowned players lining up to be a part of our soccer metaverse, so hang in there for further announcements.

The Arsenal midfielder is thrilled to be a part of our game, and shared the good news with his huge mass of followers in his own social media accounts.

We would like to thank Thomas Partey for his openness and interest in our game, and to give him a warm welcome to the MetaSoccer family!
